Minutes of General meeting held on 5th October 2024
at New Lynn Friendship club hall,
3063 New North Road, New Lynn, Auckland.
No. of Present members :160+ (Senior and Youth combined)
1.Meeting was started at 10.00am.
2.Shri Bharatbhai Parikh started meeting with his welcome speech and safety rules for the members.
3.All ladies Ladies jointly sang a prayer.
4.There was 1 minute silence for late Shri Narharibhai S Patel and then President Kaushikbhai read a condolences letter which is given to family members of Shri Narharibhai on behalf of all members.
5. Shri Kaushikbhai inform members that Shri Kiritbhai Parikh will be our new treasurer, Shri Vijaybhai Mody will look after Picnic and Event portfolio with the help of Ashokbhai Raval. Shri Vijaybhai Mody and Shri Kiritbhai Parikh will lead the team of re registration of samaj and reconstruction of samaj constitution work. Shri Ashokbhai Raval will look after Kitchen.
6. He also announced picnic dates for November and December @ summer holidays and advise members that detail message will be sent in due course.
7. Ashokbhai Raval Announce Kitchen arrangement and inform member that Tea and biscuits will be served in every meeting at 9.30am. He also announced sponsorer’s name for Tea, Fafda - Jalebi and Khaman by family member Shri Miteshbhai Patel, son of Late Shri Narharibhai Patel. He also assured members that he will try to give his best in a new role in absence of late Shri Narharibhai Patel.
8. Samaj celebrated 50th Marriage Anniversary of Shri Vinodbhai Sangani and Smt. Shobhnaben Sangani by offering them flower bouquet by Shri Tulsibhai Patel.
9. Birthday of 23 members whose birthday falls in the month of October were celebrated by all members present. Jasubhai sang a birthday song.
10. Deep pragatya of Mataji done by Shri Satishbhai and Pritiben Patel.
11. Due to Navratri Garba celebration enjoyed by all members till 12.15pm. All members participated in Garba and every one is happy and joyful with this Garba organising.
Aarti of Mataji was done by all members and then prasad was distributed to all members. Prasad was sponsored by Smt. Urmilaben Patel, Shri Vijaybhai Mody and unknown member x Smt. Bhartiben Patel.
12. All members enjoyed lunch. The food comprise of, Khaman, Fafda – Jalebi, Kadhi – pulav.
All members left hall around 1.30 pm
Cleaners has cleaned the utensils and make hall clean then committee members and volunteers left the hall at 2.00 pm after locking the hall.
