Minutes of Annual General meeting held on 2 December 2023

at New Lynn Friendship club hall,

3063 New North Road, New Lynn, Auckland.

First Half


  1. Meeting was started at 10.15am.

  2. Shri Bharatkumar Parikh started meeting with his welcome speech and safety rules for the members.

  3. Rasmikaben and Ladies group made a prayer.

  4. ’LoveFood haste waste’ programmed delivered by Tushar and team throughAuckland Council’s ASG Group and advice members how to dispose minimum waste of food.

  5. During due to set up interruption for of the projector, Bharatbhai read some good messages for seniors and also advise about rules and fines on drinking alcohol in a public place in Newzealand.

  6. Kum Jiya Tailor perform beautiful dance on bolywood theme.

  7. Shri Dilip Thakkar sang a beautiful song ‘Ajib Dastan Hai yeh’ in male voice.

  8. Shri Dhansukhbhai sang a 2 beautiful songs back to back. Kantibhai Patel


Second Half


  1. Shri Kiritbhai Thaker deliver in his presidential speech advice members about selection for award by Vaishvik Gujarati Sangthan Ahmedabad and advise members that some of the member may attend this function and receive award on behalf of the samaj. All members welcome this with big claps. He also update the members about samaj activity and progress.

  2. Members also enjoyed 80th Birth day of our Members (1) Shri Mahendrabhai J.Patel and (2) Shri Amitbhai Munshi.

  3. Members enjoyed December Birthdays of 37 members.

  4. Shri Kantibhai Patel accompany by Ashokbhai Raval inform the members about upcoming picnic on 16/12/2023 at south head hall/Shelly beach.

  5. Bharatbhai also advise members about abusing words used by some members towards committee members and request in a strict manner not to abuse any one during picnics.He also inform the members that Alcohol and its drinking is strictly prohibited in any picnics arranged by samaj.He also convey thanks for donation given by other members during the meeting.

  6. Shri Bhikhubhai Patel chant Bhojan Mantra and then all members enjoyed lunch.

  7. All members left hall around 1.40 pm

  8. Cleaners has clean the utensils and hall and committee members and volunteers left the hall at 2.30 pm after locking the hall.
