Minutes of Annual General meeting held on 3 February 2024

at New Lynn Friendship club hall,

3063 New North Road, New Lynn, Auckland.

First Half

  1. Meeting was started at 10.15am.
  2. Shri Bharatkumar Parikh started meeting with his welcome speech and safety rules for the members.
  3. Rasmikaben and Ladies group made a prayer.
  4. Shri Dharmesh patel of Yuva wing sang a song on Kishorkumat of film Jumroo – Jum Jum Jum Jum Jumroo…….All members delighted and enjoye a lot.
  5. Shri Dilipbhai Thakkar also sang beautiful song on film Chhalia -Dum Dum Diga Diga, Mausam Bhiga bhiga…….Members enjoyed him well.
  6. Purnimaben Mody perform dance on film Sikari and Saheb Bibi aur Gulam. The dance was superb and all members greets her with big big claps.She dress herself very well and she dedicated this dance to her husband Shri Vijay Mody.
  7. Shri Bharatbhai Parikh describe importance of Waitangi Day celebration.
  8. Shri Forumbhai from yuva wing sang beautiful Bhajan from Jag Janni-2010 album –mara vahla ne vadhi ne kehjo re Odhavji….. He also sang very romantic song from movie HIMALAY KI GOD MEIN – Chand si Mehbooba ho meri aisa maine socha tha….. Both song was sang without Kareoke and nicely sang, all members enjoyed very well.
  9. Bharatbhai introduce Ella Kumar and she had a good exercise session on 2 bolywood song. All members join with her and have a good exercise session.Everyone thanks Ellaji for this session.
  10. Shri Dhansukhbhai sang a beautiful romantic song on 1993 film ANARI-Fulo sa chehra tera kaliyon si muskan hai……… Members made a big clap on this.
  11. Kishorbhai Desai talks on hilarious jokes and members laughed a lot.
  12. Mahendrabhai Patel, Treasurer inform members about new grant of $5000 sanctioned to samaj by Foundation North and Vice President Rasmika Patel updates members about samaj activity in absence of President Shri Kiritbhai Thaker.
  13. Dineshbhai Shah sang a beautiful song on film JAMANE KO DIKHANA HAI -Hoga tumse pyara kaun. Members enjoyed him well.
  14. Shri Sureshbhai H Dave honoured with shawl by Shri Rameshbhai B Patel on his 80th Birthday ceremony.
  15. Birthday of the members celebrated by all members for February 2024.
  16. Bharatbhai Parikh informed members to answer the meeting attending messages in time for administrative purpose. He also announce updates on youth and also out forthcoming picnic in March 2024. He also request members to be remain be seated on their seats till Bhojan Mantra chant and Bharatbhai Parikh announce Smt. Anjanaben Patel’s name as sponsors for sweets and farsan for todays meeting lunch and thanks
  17. Shri Bhikhubhai Patel chant Bhojan Mantra and then all members enjoyed lunch.


    All members left hall around 1.00 pm 


    Cleaners has clean the utensils and hall and committee members and volunteers left the hall at 2.30 pm after locking the hall.
