Minutes of Annual General meeting held on 4 November 2023

at New Lynn Friendship club hall,

3063 New North Road, New Lynn, Auckland.

First Half


  1. Meeting was started at 10.15am.
  2. Shri Bharatkumar Parikh started meeting with his welcome speech and safety rules for the members.
  3. Rasmikaben and Ladies group made a prayer.
  4. Shri Dineshbhai U shah sang a 2 song  on film Guide and Agar Tum Na Hote.
  5. Smt.Malvikaben Shah and group perform on Diwali song.
  6. Shri Dharmendrabhai Mehta sang a song on film Masoom.
  7. Shri Kishorbhai Mehta and Kantibhai Patel inform members about safety and medical safety information receivd from NZ Police.
  8. Khusali Jani of Himalaya Meditation invite the members for Yog sibit on 18/11/2023 at Hendrson.


Second Half


  1. Shri Kiritbhai Thaker, Shri Mahendrabhai Patel has given full details of outcome of food stall which was held on 29rd Oct 2023 by youth wing. Total profit also declared which was $7000+. All members appreciated this.
  2. Members enjoyed November Birthdays of members. Shri Kiritbhai sang Birthday song.
  3. Purvi Patel of youth wing provide information on Kids Diwali programme at BAPS and request all members to attend the same with their children/grand children.
  4. Shri Bharatkumar Parikh  announce various information about upcoming events i.e. Diwali Mela in Auckland CBD  in November 2023.
  5. Shri Kiritbhai Thaker deliver his presidential speech and update members about progress of the samaj. He also declare Garba night of samaj on 15/10/2023 at Friendship club hall.
  6. Shri Kantibhai Patel and Ashokbhai Raval inform the members about upcoming picnic on 18/11/2023.
  7. Bharatbhai convey his thanks to Rasmiksben Patel for sponsorship of lunch including sweets and farsan. He also convey thanks for donation given by other members during the meeting.
  8. Shri Bhikhubhai Patel chant Bhojan Mantra and then all members enjoyed lunch.
  9. All members left hall around 1.00 pm.
  10. Cleaners has clean the utensils and hall and committee members and volunteers left the hall at 2.00 pm after locking the hall.
