Tea and Biscuits were served to all members from 9.30am onwards


  1. Meeting was started at 10.15am.
  2. Shri Kaushikbhai(president) started meeting with his welcome speech and inform members about safety rules for the members followed by prayer.
  3. Shri Kaushikbhai Welcome Ms. Jessica Phuang and commander Mr. Gulab Singh from NZ Police. He also described various achievements of Ms. Jessica Phuang and convey thanks for accepting Gujarati Samaj invitation.
  4. Smt. Urmilaben Patel presented Ms Jessica a bouquet and Chocolate Bar as a gift.
  5. Ms Jessica briefly inform the members about working of NZ police for communities and thanks Gujarati Samaj for inviting her. She also provided police broach to president Shri Kaushikbhai as a token of relationship with Gujarati Samaj. She also promised that in most of the general meeting one constable will be provided from NZ police for safety purpose. This was appreciated by all members present in the meeting.
  6. Shri Kaushikbhai made important announcement on coming Mandir Yatra, youth update and forthcoming Sneh Milan event in October 2025.
  7. Kaushikbhai also inform the members about Executive Committee decision to destroy old records of the Gujarati Samaj from 2012 to 30th June 2018 and only last 7 years i.e. from 1/7/2025, records will be available. He also informed the members that this decision is taken to manage space at the individuals house where they kept record of the Samaj i.e. President, Secretary and Treasurer.
  8. Shri Kaushikbhai called newly enrolled 1 member (Navinbhai Trivedi) for his introduction and short speech.
  9. Shri Ashokbhai and Shri Pankajbhai informed the members about revised BHOJAN Vyavastha of today’s meeting.
  10. Birthday of 20 members whose birthday falls in the month of August were celebrated. Shri Vinodbhai Sangani sang a birthday song and all members joined and enjoyed. 80th Birthday of Shri Mohan Vallabh celebrated and a shawl was given to him by Shri Sureshbhai Trivedi.
  11. Smt. Vidyaben Patel nicely sang Bhajan @ Shravan Month.
  12. Shri Dhansukhbhai sang beautifully a patriotic song ‘ Jis Des Mein Ganga Bahti Hai’. All members give him big round of applause.
  13. Capt. Gulab Singh of NZ Police presented a very useful information with slide show on safety, security and police.
  14. Khote Sikke dance group girls performed a dance. All member enjoyed it and appreciate with big clapping. Certificates were given as a appreciation to all participants of this group by Smt. Jasumatiben Lathigara.
  15. Shri Dineshbhai Sheth sang beautifully a patriotic song of ‘Upkar’ Film beautifully. All members enjoyed it and appreciated.
  16. Shri Dilip Thakkar also sang beautifully a Bollywood song on Rakshabandhan from film ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
  17. Shri Vinodbhai and his wife Sobhnaben Sangani presented Narsinh Mehta ‘prabhatiya’.
  18. Shri Jasubhai & group performed “Athingo Raas”.
  19. Bhikhubhai Patel chant Bhojan Mantra and then all members enjoyed lunch at 1 pm.


    The food comprised of Puri- Tindola Bataka shak, Dal – Bhat, Mohanthal and Batakavada as Farsan & Sweet (sponsored by Well Wisher).


    All members left hall around 2.30 pm. 


    Cleaners cleaned the utensils and make hall clean then committee members and volunteers left the hall at 3.00 pm after locking the hall.
